Terms of Commission & Service

The shop is operated by Pixel on Pixels (“we”, “us”). By browsing, composing, or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you commission goods on behalf of another, you warrant that you are authorised to do so.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from the use of this shop, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their home courts.

Every item is a print-on-demand commission, manufactured upon request by Prodigi, our fulfilment press. Nothing is held in a warehouse awaiting a casual purchaser. Artwork, inscriptions generated by the AI Composer, and any name or occasion you supply are combined into a unique piece printed specifically for your order.

Because each parcel is bespoke and produced only after payment, production begins once the order is confirmed. Titles, colours, and paper stocks are described in good faith; slight variations of ink and trim, being the nature of the press, shall not of themselves constitute a defect.

The AI Composer offers a literary draft in a Regency register. You remain responsible for reviewing the verse before it is committed to print. Generated text is licensed to you for use upon the goods you purchase from us; we retain the right to operate the Composer and the shop. You must not submit prompts that infringe the rights of others or that are unlawful, abusive, or deceptive.

Accounts are formed by Google authentication. You must keep your Google credentials secure. We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse of the Composer, or breach of these terms.

An order is an offer to commission goods. We may decline or cancel an order where payment fails, stock or print capability is unavailable, or the commission appears unlawful. Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise marked. Promotional codes and loyalty points apply only as stated at checkout.

Dispatch times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address given at checkout, or to a carrier nominated by you. International patrons are responsible for any duties or taxes levied by their customs house.

Our policy on dispatch, damaged goods, and the absence of change-of-mind returns for personalised commissions is set out in the Dispatch & Returns declaration, which forms part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales, including the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that reservation, we shall not be liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the website, from interruption of the shop, or from delay in the press. Our total liability for any claim arising from a commission shall not exceed the sum paid for that commission.

The website is offered as a literary shop, not as an unbroken public utility. We do not warrant that the Composer, the gallery, or checkout shall be free of interruption, error, or incompatibility with every device.

You must not attempt to interfere with the website, scrape it by automated means except as permitted by our robots notice, or use it to transmit malware. All trade dress, artwork, and copy on this site remain the property of Pixel on Pixels or their licensors.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order shall govern that commission.
